Look out Australia! Here come Trevor and Jordan!

I dropped these two {Trevor and his college buddy, Jordan Weber} off at the airport this morning. They are on their way to Australia for three weeks. They are part of the study abroad program through Kirkwood Community College.

Trevor finished up his two year degree in Construction Management at Kirkwood Community College this week. I am so proud of him!! This fall he will head off to UNI to get a four year degree. Can you spot Trevor's gradution gift in this picture???

Nice Guys.

These men finished up their work on our roof today. They were so friendly. Tomorrow it will seem quiet when there is now more hammering, laughing and spanish music coming from our rooftop. I have to say, I rather enjoyed the singing! The new roof looks great!

Finally!

A very welcomed site to see, all the men on the roof working this morning. We have needed a new roof for a while and thanks {and really mean thanks} to a hail storm in early April of this year, today it FINALLY happened!

Prom Parents

Last night after all the kids left for the Iowa City West High Prom {Trevor & Emily} All of the parents decided to go out for dinner. We all had a great time getting to know each other at a place call "Bob's Your Uncle" in Iowa City. Rick and Becky Graf {Emily's parent's}, Todd and Laurie Sniegowski, Tom and Pam Moore {Sara Moore's parents} and Heather and Brian McClatchey {Emma McClatchey's parent's}. Good food, good friends and a good time had by all.
