This is where Todd works, it's called The Great America Building. Its a really beautiful building, it looks much better when the sun is shining! I miss the sunshine, I think it has been about three weeks since I've seen it. Oh, the joys of winter in Iowa!

The Eagle has Landed!

This morning Todd came with me to the place I saw the Eagles on Friday. We saw several and got pretty close to this one. Isn't he awesome? I could have watched him for hours.

My Bus Driver

Today Todd was taking a bus load of fans to Chicago, to see the Chicago Bulls play basketball.

Too Much Paperwork!

This week has been all about getting everything together for our tax return. Lots and lots of paperwork. I worked on it all morning today and by afternoon I had had enough. It was actually a warm {32 degrees} and I decided to take my camera out and see what I could find to photograph! I saw about twenty Bald Eagles, it was so cool. I may have to take Todd to the great spot I found this week end. Back to the paperwork. :(

Homemade Granola!

Made a big batch of homemade granola today. Cold weather makes me want to bake/cook more food, at least I made something healthy, right?

Dinner & Homework!

Trevor and his girlfriend Emily usually "hangout" at our house at least once a week. Sometimes they work on homework, sometimes we all play Wii or watch a movie but I always try to make something good for dinner and we eat together.

Sometimes it all about the Little Things.

We are so hooked on fruit smoothies at our house right now. After actually burning up 3 smoothie makers/blenders, we decided to get a Magic Bullet. I'm so glad we did, it was so worth it and makes it so easy so have a smoothy anytime.We use it everyday! My favorite is Pineapple, Mango & Strawberry with orange juice and vanilla protien powder. Mmmmm, so good and good for you.

Sometimes Life is about How We Play!

We have had so much fun playing Wii, especially during these long winter months when we are inside so much. We got some new games for Christmas, our favorites lately are the dance games, Just Dance and The Michael Jackson Experience. I love this picture, fun!

Grammy and Grandpa Snell

Grammy is 86 and Grandpa turned 90 this year. This is just the way I want to remember them, aren't they sweet together. This was taken this past Christmas time when we got together at Butch and Lauri's house. Time that I get to spend with them is so special to me. Love you, Grammy and Grandpa.

Another Favorite

Still working on putting away the Christmas decor today. It's never as much fun to put it away as it is to get it out. This nativity scene is one of my favorite pieces and it is extra special to me because it was a gift to Todd and I many years ago on one of our first Christmases together.

Time to put away the Christmas decorations for another year, but not before snapping a few shots of some of my favorites. I love this snowman pillow, he makes a nice model when I am bored and want to play with my camera.

Sugar Pie Honey Bunch!

I have THE cutest little second cousins. I have a total of eight sweet little blond haired second cousins {girls} and one handsome {boy} there will be another born this spring. Hmmm....boy or girl? I love Jaeden's toothless smile in this photo.

Sisters {The Girls}

These lovely ladies are all my Aunt's {on my Dad's side}. We all got together to draw names for Christmas gifts. On this day, I was thinking, it is pretty safe to say that I will have beautiful white hair {in thirty years or so}. Holiday Light Parade, Downtown.

So....I intended to start my 365 Project on January 1st this year, but of course I didn't get around to it. So I am filling the first few days in January that I skipped with a few fun pictures from over the holiday season 2010. Trevor, Emily, Todd & I decided to head into Cedar Rapids for the Holiday Light Parade. And of course a trip to the Simply Divine candy shop for some hot chocolate. It was freezing, but we had a good time!

We spent some time with the Graf family on New Year's Day. We all had fun eating, chatting and watching lots of football, did I say eating? Becky makes the best baked potato soup.
